My Story

Background & Education: Born and raised in Las Vegas, Alexandra Athmann-Marcoux began her educational journey at Bishop Gorman, later attending Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. There, she majored in Philosophy and minored in Biology, gaining a broad perspective across various academic disciplines. Her passion for law led her to Saint Louis University for her Juris Doctor Degree, where she completed a concentration in Health Law. During her time in law school, Alexandra was involved in numerous student organizations, including holding leadership positions in the Women Law Students’ Association, and she served as a mentor to first-year students.

Legal Career: After passing the Nevada bar exam, Alexandra began her career at a criminal defense firm, where she handled criminal cases as well as Lawyer and Judicial Ethics and Discipline cases. She also gained experience in Family Law, particularly in Abuse and Neglect defense, as well as Personal Injury Law. In 2023, she established her law firm so that she would have the ability to represent clients in these various fields of law.

Personal Interests: Alexandra's life outside the courtroom is as rich and diverse as her professional career. A lover of animals, she finds joy in the company of her two dogs and cats. Her hobbies include live trivia, reading fiction novels, and attending live concerts.
